Verified ReviewerCustomer Service Does Not Follow Through
I asked customer service about a glitch they had with the 2024 Paris Advent Calendar. The item received on December 22 was the same as the one received on December 23.
On December 23, when you clicked on the gift box by the tree, it just disappeared. The gift item for the 22nd was the same as the one for the 23rd--the dog cutouts. I asked them if they were going to correct the problem--their response was an automated one, asking for my PC brand and other hardware details, all nothing to do with my inquiry. I replied to their automated response and never got an answer.
I am very surprised this glitch was not caught by their tech team. Overall, however, I enjoy the Advent calendars and Jacquie Lawson cards.
They bring joy to many. They need to work on customer service, however, and truly read the notes people send regarding tech issues.

I've wasted two hours cancelling fire hydrants, motorbikes, buses, and other American items. You put your regulars into the middle of a nightmare.

I have sent messaged to JL with this problem and there hasn't been anything done about it. I have gone from disappointed to furious.
Those folk who have received are really looking forward to opening them, as they do each year, but this is not any consolation for those that have not arrived.

I just paid for a membership on January 26, 2025, but I want to cancel and have my credit card reimbursed. I just spent 10 minutes looking at get well cards for a male and think the cards are just not appropriate for my use.
I want to cancel and enroll in Blue Mountain, which has cards more to my liking and need, Please let me know how to do this.
I have sent one card since I paid for the membership. I paid for 1 year, but could you just charge me for one month and cancel the membership.

Verified ReviewerTheir internal functions are a mess
I experienced the following problems:
-JL processed my renewal payment, then subsequently denied access stating email I registered and JL were posting to, stating No record of that email. Same email I have been using for about a decade.
-when I eventually (TIME and delay) managed to log on, JL accepted advent calendars (multiple) payment.
Then, automatic list of recipeints Not available.
-after manually inserting names and emails tosend the advent calendars to, when deliver button posted, it dumped them all, repeatedly. Finally had to do one by one.
-when posted advent calendar to myself, at usual email, logging on to access the calendar was access denied, and statement JL has no record of mty email address.
-when I look at the list historical cards and advent calendars sent, less than a handful show; that is, almost All do Not show any record of being sent, delivered, acknowledged.
It's too much of my valuable time taken because they can't get their act together, And so much of the promise simply not delivered any more. Apologies re being overwhelmed at Christmas won't cut it; they have been around for some time.
Perhaps there is an alternative that is more organised. I'd like to stay with them; however, my time, and energy, is too valuable for this.
Then they do that clever money saving thing where they have no contact details for customer service; only FAQ's, which, after spending more valuable time and energy, do not provide a solution.
I guess they are artists and Not business folk. I am surprised they do not have competent IT.
Their cards are outstanding.
Hopefully, the good folk who care enough to write something will receive a solution.

Company fixed the issue and I have been provided with apology. I was sent extra instructions, which are always a bit of a minefield.
I am angry about the situation now. It is 1 December, and I still have friends who have not received the Advent Calendars I purchased, and I am not getting any satisfactory replies to my complaints or not even a reply on occasion. Jacquie needs to sort out the numpties in the IT Department.

Only two recipients received their cards. I have since re-sent the four remaining cards that were not delivered and only 1 recipient received theirs.
Now I have three remaining cards to send that were not delivered when I re-sent them. I presume I will encounter more problems because I see a pattern. The system is not working. I have never had any problems in the past, but this has become a nuisance.
I followed the instructions for re-sending, unfortunately I have to keep re-sending what I have already re-sent.

Ive been a paid customer for many years you have been given all my personal information and I already checked online. You have every single bit of it.
I have requested that my account be canceled.. I find it very strange. Have I ever known there was not a phone number where you could contact a live human being. I wouldve never signed up with you.
Theres way too many companies that do the same thing that you used to do for me and will no longer do just cancel my service. Ive also blocked you sending any further emails to me. I am done. I cant tell you how embarrassing it is for a friend of mine to get the card two or three times thats just absolutely the most ridiculous thing Ive ever heard of in this day of Technology get rid of my information.

User's recommendation: Add a phone number so we can talk to a live human being. I’ve had the same secure login for all these years. It’s certainly not something. The average person would ever come up with because I made it up. There’s no such existing word in the dictionary and you tell me to come and put a new password in because there’s a security Risk. What kind of security risk do you have for getting a card good Lord in fact, I just canceled my credit card number that you have so it’s over. I will not give you my new credit card number when it comes tomorrow FedEx or the next day because it’s a holiday. It’s over for me. I can’t deal with an unprofessional company. Overcharged and can't get a refund
At my 1st Jacquie Lawson renewal I was offered a "bundle" price for Jacquie Lawson plus a Blue Mountain subscription. I selected the bundle option and was charged the bundle price PLUS the standard Jacquie Lawson renewal price. Now I can't get a refund or even acknowledgement that I was overcharged.

I've sent Jackie Lawson 2 emails and one came back as rejected that was to the help email. I want a refund and contacted them when they said they were charging my account.

I was charged for renewal of my prescription.When I now try to send message appears that the page is no longer available.
I have been charged for renewal, but when I try to send a card, it says the page is no longer available. I can log in and all the email addresses of people I send cards to are still there.But that is the message when I hit, send.
There is no way to contact any customer service.
There are only set questions that do not apply. Although I and my recipients enjoyed the ecards, none can be sent after the renewal.
