Cannot access despite paying and zero/rude customer service

DoSuddenly, I cannot access the website as access from Asia is suddenly banned (Singapore). I could always use the website previously.

I've paid for this service and the only response from customer service is 'Not available in your region'. My request for refund is ignored.

Customer Service Does Not Follow Through

I asked customer service about a glitch they had with the 2024 Paris Advent Calendar. The item received on December 22 was the same as the one received on December 23.

On December 23, when you clicked on the gift box by the tree, it just disappeared. The gift item for the 22nd was the same as the one for the 23rd--the dog cutouts. I asked them if they were going to correct the problem--their response was an automated one, asking for my PC brand and other hardware details, all nothing to do with my inquiry. I replied to their automated response and never got an answer.

I am very surprised this glitch was not caught by their tech team. Overall, however, I enjoy the Advent calendars and Jacquie Lawson cards.

They bring joy to many. They need to work on customer service, however, and truly read the notes people send regarding tech issues.

Bad customer service

After using Jacquie Lawson cards for a long time, I got tired of the same old cards every year and the few new cards they put out were boring. When I canceled my subscription, I found that it was impossible to delete my credit card in my account.

I reached out multiple times to remove my credit card, but unfortunately, I did not receive any response. There was NO phone number to contact them so I had to call my bank to cancel my credit card.

The lack of communication made me feel frustrated with the overall bad customer service.

Loss of details

I have spent the last 2 weeks answering messages from friends who have not receive their Advent Calendars. The HELP pages on the site are useless if you haven't actually received the calendar.

I have sent messaged to JL with this problem and there hasn't been anything done about it. I have gone from disappointed to furious.
Those folk who have received are really looking forward to opening them, as they do each year, but this is not any consolation for those that have not arrived.

Ditto. I experienced the following problems: -Took my renewal payment, then denied access as email I registered and JL were posting to, was stated as no record of that email.

Same email I have been using for about a decade. -when managed to log on, accepted advent calendar payment. Then no emails available for automatic list. -after manually inserting names and emails, when deliver button posted, it dumped them all, repeatedly.

Finally had to do one by one. -when posted advent calendar to myself, at usual email, access denied and statement JL has no record of mty email address. -when I look at the list historical cards and advent calendars sent, less than a handful show, id almost All do Not. It's too much of my valuable time taken because they can't get their act together, There must be an alternative that is more organised.

I guess they are artists and Not business folk. I am surprised they do not have competent IT.

Unfortunately I cancelled my subscription only 3 weeks into my subscription but didn’t qualify for a partial refund! It’s not the money but the principal that offends me.

Jacqueline Lawson took £36 subscription on 14/12/2024. I decided to cancel my subscription only 07/01/2025.

There was no refund on offer which surprised me. On further emails to them their tone was dismissive.

I found that surprising. Its not the money really but you he principle of the issue.

Need to cancel membership

I just paid for a membership on January 26, 2025, but I want to cancel and have my credit card reimbursed. I just spent 10 minutes looking at get well cards for a male and think the cards are just not appropriate for my use.

I want to cancel and enroll in Blue Mountain, which has cards more to my liking and need, Please let me know how to do this.

I have sent one card since I paid for the membership. I paid for 1 year, but could you just charge me for one month and cancel the membership.

Their internal functions are a mess

I experienced the following problems:

-JL processed my renewal payment, then subsequently denied access stating email I registered and JL were posting to, stating No record of that email. Same email I have been using for about a decade.

-when I eventually (TIME and delay) managed to log on, JL accepted advent calendars (multiple) payment.

Then, automatic list of recipeints Not available.

-after manually inserting names and emails tosend the advent calendars to, when deliver button posted, it dumped them all, repeatedly. Finally had to do one by one.

-when posted advent calendar to myself, at usual email, logging on to access the calendar was access denied, and statement JL has no record of mty email address.

-when I look at the list historical cards and advent calendars sent, less than a handful show; that is, almost All do Not show any record of being sent, delivered, acknowledged.

It's too much of my valuable time taken because they can't get their act together, And so much of the promise simply not delivered any more. Apologies re being overwhelmed at Christmas won't cut it; they have been around for some time.

Perhaps there is an alternative that is more organised. I'd like to stay with them; however, my time, and energy, is too valuable for this.

Then they do that clever money saving thing where they have no contact details for customer service; only FAQ's, which, after spending more valuable time and energy, do not provide a solution.

I guess they are artists and Not business folk. I am surprised they do not have competent IT.

Their cards are outstanding.

Hopefully, the good folk who care enough to write something will receive a solution.

I am angry about the situation now. It is 1 December, and I still have friends who have not received the Advent Calendars I purchased, and I am not getting any satisfactory replies to my complaints or not even a reply on occasion. Jacquie needs to sort out the numpties in the IT Department.
